My Story 

50 Memories from 50 Years of Service.

An important collection of reminiscences from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has been published as a book to mark the occasion of HH fifty years in public service.

Visioneers company produced a documentary series to depict the vision behind Dubai's growth and the evolution of the United Arab Emirates.

A collection of episodes has been published on HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum YouTube page,

and aired on UAE's local TV station: Dubai TV channel.

My Role - Overview

As a Post-Production Manager working on this project, I was handling day to day tasks working with the production team and directly communicating with the TV series director and video editors. Approving the edit flow, music, sound design and color correction.

Moreover, my work included creation of the social media package, including implementation of the English Subtitles for each episode.

while creating 'Tik Tok format' video edits and 1minute length social media cut-downs for all the episodes in the season.

Intro Thumbnails

We decided to give the YouTube page grid a more pleasant experience and relate each episode with it's representative thumbnail image, so the audience can identify each episode quickly while scrolling the video playlist. I created and designed all the episodes thumbnails by providing two options for approval.

Book Animation

I created the book outro animation for every episode in the season.

The book was created in 2D using After Effects. We used the existing quotes written in the book while I changed the content of the book in each animation created to match the original book page.

The content included changing for each episode: the Quote at the end page, the precedent pages that describes the script, and the chapter title of each story that represents the episode.

Tik Tok Edits

I created Tik Tok format cut-downs for every episode in the season. I had to fit each scene filmed horizontally to match the vertical 16:9 format.

This included re-working the voice over, sound design along with intro and outro animation to fit the vertical format,

It was essential to take down the whole script of the episode into 1minute length.
